Privacy Policy — Masonic Puzzle
This Privacy Policy explains what information the Masonic Puzzle mobile application (the "App") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
- Random device identifier. When you first open the App, a random identifier is generated to save your game progress and to associate your scores with your device. It is not linked to your real-world identity.
- Nickname (optional). If you choose to join the leaderboard, the nickname you enter is stored and shown publicly on the leaderboard.
- Game results. Your scores, levels completed and related gameplay statistics are stored to power progression and the leaderboard.
- Approximate country. A two-letter country code is recorded at first launch to group leaderboard results by region.
- Purchase records. If you make an in-app purchase, the purchase is processed by Google Play and managed through RevenueCat. We receive a record that a purchase occurred so we can grant the corresponding content. We never receive or store your full payment card details.
The App does not contain third-party advertising and does not collect your contacts, photos, precise location, microphone or camera data.
2. How We Use Information
- To save and restore your game progress across sessions.
- To display the global and regional leaderboards.
- To deliver and restore in-app purchases you have made.
- To detect abuse and keep the leaderboard fair.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only with the service providers needed to run the App:
- Google Play — processes in-app purchases (see Google’s Privacy Policy).
- RevenueCat — manages purchase entitlements on our behalf (see RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy).
4. Data Storage & Retention
Game data is stored on your device and on our servers for as long as you use the App. You may request deletion of your leaderboard data and associated identifiers by contacting us at the address below. Uninstalling the App removes the locally stored data from your device.
5. Children
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
6. Security
All communication between the App and our servers is encrypted over HTTPS. Device keys are stored in hashed form on the server. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
7. Your Choices
Providing a nickname and joining the leaderboard is optional. You can play the App without entering any personal information. To request data deletion, use the contact address below.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page.
