World Flag Cup

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 October 2026

World Flag Cup is published by NoventisLab LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (No. 17168303). This policy explains what the game does with data.

In short: there is no account and no email address. Your progress and gold stay on your device. For the worldwide rankings and the weekly cup, the game sends your level results to our server under a random identifier your device made up, together with the player name, avatar and country shown on the rankings. The game also shows optional reward ads from Google AdMob — see Advertising.

What stays on your device

Your progress through the world map, your stars, your gold, the items you own and your settings (sound, music, language) are stored only in the app's own storage on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.

Rankings and the weekly cup

The first time the game goes online, your device generates a random player identifier and a secret key and keeps them in the device keychain. They are not linked to your Apple ID, your device ID or any advertising identifier. Under that identifier the game sends our server:

Your player name, avatar, country and scores are visible to other players on the rankings. Our server also uses your IP address, in a salted and hashed form, to limit how many new players can be registered from one network per day, and its logs record IP addresses for security for a short time. We do not use location services and do not look up your position from your IP.

Reporting players

On the rankings you can tap another player to hide them or to report an inappropriate name. A report stores your identifier, theirs and the reported name, and is sent by email to our team so we can act on it. Names reported by several players are replaced automatically.

Purchases

Gold packs are paid through Apple in the App Store; we never see your card details or Apple ID (see Apple's Privacy Policy). To deliver gold and support Restore Purchases we use RevenueCat, which receives Apple's confirmation of the purchase, the product and an anonymous app user identifier — no name, email or payment details (see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy).

Advertising

The game is free. It shows ads from Google AdMob only when you choose to watch one — for example to get five extra moves. To show, measure and limit those ads, Google's ad software collects your device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking), the ads you see and tap, basic app interactions, crash and performance data and your IP address, which may be used to estimate a general location. Google is responsible for this data, as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Your random player identifier is never shared with advertisers.

Your choices. The game asks once whether it may track you; you can change this any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland a consent screen from Google asks you first, and you can change your choice later in the game's Settings → "Ad privacy".

What we do not do

Children

World Flag Cup is a puzzle game for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; the game never asks for a real name or contact details.

How long we keep it and your rights

Ranking data is kept while the rankings run. You can delete your ranking data at any time in the game: Settings → "Delete my leaderboard data". You can also ask us what we hold, ask us to correct it or delete it by writing to info@noventislab.com with the player ID shown in Settings.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date above.
