Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026

Masonic Kingdom is published by NoventisLab LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (No. 17168303). This policy explains what the game does with data. It is short because the game collects very little.

In one sentence: the game keeps your progress on your own device, does not ask for an account, and everything it sends us travels under a random identifier your own device made up — no name, no email, nothing that points back to you. The game also shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google's ad software collects some device data of its own — see Advertising. If you buy a Lodge Logo, the logo and lodge name you upload are shown to every player — see Lodge logos.

What stays on your device

Your progress — which levels you have finished, your best scores and stars, and your settings (sound, music, vibration, language, leaderboard participation) — is stored only in the app's own storage on your device. We cannot read it. Deleting the app deletes it.

Tool charges

You get three charges of each tool per week, and a charge comes back seven days after you spend it. That count is kept on our server, not on your device. It has to be: when the count lived on the device, moving the device clock forward handed out free charges. The game tells the server only which tool you spent — never a time or a date — and the server works out the rest from its own clock. This is tied to the same random identifier described below, and it happens whether or not you take part in the leaderboard, because the game cannot count your charges without it.

The leaderboard

The game has a worldwide leaderboard. The first time you open it, your device generates a random identifier for you — the game shows it as MK-XXXXXX on the leaderboard screen and at the bottom of the Rules screen. You are never asked to choose a name. When you finish a level, the game sends three things to our server:

Because no name, email address or contact detail is ever asked for, an entry cannot be traced back to you — not by other players, and not by us. Entries are visible to other players inside the game, under the identifier alone. You can leave the leaderboard at any time: Settings → "Join the leaderboard". While it is off, no score and no level leaves your device.

Usage data

So that we can tell how many people play, roughly where from, and how often, the game also sends — under the same random identifier — four things your device already knows:

Our server also records when your device last contacted it, so it can count sessions and levels played. We do not use location services, we do not look up your position from your IP address, and we do not build a profile of you: these are settings, read once per sync, attached to a random identifier and counted in aggregate.

Purchases

Payment is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store or by Google through Google Play. We never see or receive your card number, billing address, Apple ID or Google account. Their handling of your payment data is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.

To remember what you have bought — so that it comes back when you reinstall the game — we use RevenueCat, a purchase service acting as our processor. It receives the store's confirmation that a purchase was completed, which product it was, and a random identifier for your installation (on iPhone and iPad, the vendor identifier Apple gives to us alone, which is cleared when you delete the app). It is not given your name, your email address or your payment details, and none of it is used for advertising. RevenueCat's handling is covered by RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Lodge logos

In the Shop you can buy a Lodge Logo: your lodge's logo and name shown on the curtain at the end of one level you choose. If you do, we keep, under the same random identifier described above:

The image is picked with your device's own photo picker: the game receives only the one image you choose and has no other access to your photos. It is reduced to at most 512 pixels before it is sent. We review every logo by hand. Once approved, the logo and the lodge name are public: every player who finishes that level sees them. Please do not upload anything personal. We keep the logo for as long as it is shown; a declined or removed logo is kept, not shown, so that you can fix and resubmit it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Advertising

The game is free and shows ads from Google AdMob: a video you can choose to watch for five extra moves or a free tool charge, and an occasional full-screen ad between levels — never in the first ten levels, and never for players who have bought anything.

To show, measure and limit those ads, Google's ad software in the game collects: your device's advertising identifier (on iPhone and iPad only if you allow it — see below), the ads you see and tap, basic interactions with the app, crash and performance data, and your IP address, which may be used to estimate a general location such as a city or region. Google is responsible for this data, as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. We do not receive it in a form that identifies you, and the random MK-XXXXXX identifier is never shared with advertisers.

Your choices. On iPhone and iPad the game asks once whether it may track you. If you say no, your advertising identifier is not shared and ads are not personalized from your activity in other apps; you can change this any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, a consent screen from Google asks you before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice later in the game's Settings → "Ad privacy". On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.

What we do not do

Children

Masonic Kingdom is a puzzle game suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The game never asks anyone — child or adult — to type a name, an email address or any other detail: the leaderboard shows the random MK-XXXXXX identifier and nothing else. A parent who would rather the game sent nothing at all can turn the leaderboard off in Settings.

How long we keep it

Leaderboard entries are kept while the leaderboard is running. Lodge logos are kept as described under Lodge logos. You can ask us to remove your entry or your logo at any time — see below.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@noventislab.com from any address and quote your identifier — the MK-XXXXXX code shown on the leaderboard screen and at the bottom of the Rules screen — and we will remove the entry. Because we do not hold accounts, that code is the only way we can find it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date above. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
